


Fidel Mpanzo is a 7'0" forward and center for Wilmington University, bringing size, skill, and a global perspective to the court. Born in Luanda, Angola, his journey has taken him across the United States, from Allegany College of Maryland, where he won a Collegiate Conference Championship and Tournament Championship, to Wilmington, Delaware, where he now studies Business Management with a focus in Sports Management. Off the court, Fidel is passionate about fitness, mentoring youth, cooking, and traveling. His faith guides him daily, and he is a lawful permanent resident of the United States. With over 30 NIL deals as a D2 athlete, Fidel is proof that platform and perseverance matter more than division. He is also the founder of OVRLKD Sports, helping overlooked athletes win.
